Elizabeth Edwards, author of best seller book died of cancer Tuesday morning at his home in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Elizabeth was first diagnosed with breast cancer and treated in 2004. In 2007, cancer struck again and spread to various parts of his body.
Elizabeth Edwards wrote two bestselling books Resilience and Saving graces. The book tells about the long struggle against cancer and the scandal surrounding her husband, a rich lawyer who became a U.S. senator from North Carolina and twice ran for U.S. president.
Elizabeth Edwards and her husband announced in January 2010 they had split after 32 years married. Separation occurs approximately one week after John Edwards admitted he was the father of a baby with Rielle Hunter. The tiny baby was 2 years old when John Edwards admitted he was the father of the baby.
